The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is the newspaper of Amebrak, set down in the Ydrast tongue and printed by the beam. Each sweep carries what the lamp saw since the last one turned: the expedition ledger, the register of the reeds, incidents and the persons named in them, letters up to the lamp room, and the almanac that closes the interior. Nothing here is filed from Abaddon — a newspaper of the living cannot report from the afterlife, only set down what is said about it. Every sweep ever printed is listed below, and stays readable forever.
