Privacy Policy
Pixygon makes games, apps and websites. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and how to get it removed. It applies to pixygon.io and to every Pixygon product that links here.
Who we are
Pixygon is a Norwegian company. The data controller for everything described here is Pixygon, reachable at [email protected]. Our products include pixygon.io, Lønnlyst, Tastarium, HazeChat, Pixiel.ai, CoreFeed, Animunda and our games.
What we collect
- Account. If you create a Pixygon account: email address, username and a password (stored only as a hash). One account works across all Pixygon products.
- What you make. Content you create inside a product (designs, lists, chats, profiles, game progress) is stored on our servers so it syncs across your devices. It is yours, and it is private unless you explicitly publish or share it.
- Payments. Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Stripe (and Vipps in Norway). We receive a record of what was bought; we never see or store card numbers.
- Support. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence so we can answer you.
- Technical. Our servers keep short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. These are rotated automatically.
How measurement works
Before you answer the cookie banner our sites run a deliberately minimal, anonymous measurement so we can see whether anyone uses them at all. It stores nothing on your device (no cookies, no local storage), uses no persistent identifier, records no user id, fingerprint, advertising id or campaign parameters, and only counts page paths, the host name of a referring site, and anonymous totals for milestones such as signing up. Because nothing is written to or read from your device and no personal data is processed, this needs no consent, but you can still switch it off below.
If you accept, full analytics starts: a session identifier stored in your browser so visits can be stitched into sessions, page timings, clicks and outbound links, error reports, campaign parameters and, if you are signed in, your user id. The anonymous mode stops the moment full analytics starts; the two never run together.
If you choose “Only necessary”, both modes stop and the site sends no measurement events of any kind. We remember that choice in your browser's local storage; that single value is the only thing stored.
Analytics data is processed by Pixygon on our own servers. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and Pixygon products carry no third-party advertising or ad trackers.

AI features
Some products generate text or images with AI models. When you use such a feature, the text or image you submit is sent to the model provider named inside that product (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) only to produce your result. We do not use your content to train models, and we ask our providers not to either. Usage is metered per account so we can bill for it.
Where your data lives
Pixygon runs its own servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany), including our database. Around it we use Cloudflare for DNS and delivery, Bunny CDN for media files, Stripe and Vipps for payments, and Discord for community and operations notifications. Each of these processes data only under its own agreement with us and only for the purpose named here.
How long we keep it
Account data and the content you made stay for as long as your account exists. Request logs rotate within days. Analytics sessions are kept in aggregate form. Payment records are kept as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires (five years). Deleted accounts are removed from our systems within 30 days, except where a legal duty forces us to keep a payment record.
Delete your data
You can delete your account and everything attached to it from the account settings of any Pixygon product, or by emailing [email protected] from the address on the account. We confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days. This also removes any data received from a connected third-party platform such as Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and take it with you in a machine-readable form. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
Age
Pixygon products are for people aged 13 and over. Products with mature content, such as HazeChat, require you to be 18. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children; if you believe we have, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes are announced inside the products they affect.
Connected social accounts
Pixygon's own marketing tools can be connected to social accounts we control on X, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. When an account is connected we store the access token the platform issues, and we use it only to publish posts a person has approved and to read the public performance of those posts. We do not read private messages, contact lists, friends or followers. Disconnecting an account deletes its token from our systems.
If you sign in to a Pixygon product with a third-party account, we receive only the identifier and public profile fields needed to create your Pixygon account.
